{"id":962,"date":"2024-09-10T12:00:22","date_gmt":"2024-09-10T10:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bugnion.ch\/?p=962"},"modified":"2024-12-20T12:05:43","modified_gmt":"2024-12-20T11:05:43","slug":"designeuropa-2024-the-winners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bugnion.ch\/en\/designeuropa-2024-the-winners\/","title":{"rendered":"DESIGNEUROPA 2024 : THE WINNERS\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each year, under the aegis of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the DesignEuropa Awards are presented in recognition of excellence among holders of Registered Community Designs (RCDs).<\/p>\n<p>The DesignEuropa Awards include categories such as \u2018Industry\u2019, \u2018Small and Start-up Companies\u2019, in addition to the \u2018Lifetime Achievement Award\u2019 that recognises the most influential designers in the world of industrial design.<\/p>\n<p>For 2024, DesignEuropa took on a new dimension by also honouring young emerging designers with the \u2018Next Generation Design Award\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>At an event held on 24 September 2024, in Riga, Latvia, the 2024 winners were announced as follows (Source EUIPO) :<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Industry\u2019 category: LINET spol. s r.o. (Czech Republic) &#8211; Essenza 300 LT hospital bed (EM : no 015001476-0001)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmdn.org\/tmdsview-web\/#\/dsview\/detail\/EM700000015001476-0001\">https:\/\/www.tmdn.org\/tmdsview-web\/#\/dsview\/detail\/EM700000015001476-0001<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-942 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bugnion.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/newletter1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"181\" height=\"165\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Small and Start-up Companies\u2019\u2019 category: Transparent Sound AB (Sweden) &#8211; Designer Per Brickstad &#8211; Transparent Turntable &#8211; (EM no 015009233-0001)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmdn.org\/tmdsview-web\/#\/dsview\/detail\/EM700000015009233-0001\">https:\/\/www.tmdn.org\/tmdsview-web\/#\/dsview\/detail\/EM700000015009233-0001<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-944 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/bugnion.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/newletter2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"111\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s winner of the \u2018Lifetime Achievement Award\u2019, Dieter Rams, born in 1932 in Wiesbaden &#8211; Germany, was honoured for his long career of accomplishments in the design of functional objects (H1 Fan, FS 600 Television, Phase 1 Alarm Clock, L450-2 Loudspeaker, etc.).
