Madrid Protocol and Jamaica

On March 27, 2022, the Madrid Protocol will enter into force for Jamaica. This accession will allow economic actors to apply for the registration of trademarks in this territory via the Madrid System, which now covers 126 countries. The Madrid System provides a simplified, centralized and low-cost procedure for the protection of trademarks in many markets.
