PATENTS-VALIDATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE EUROPEAN PATENT ORGANIZATION AND GEORGIA

On January 15, 2024, the validation agreement between the European Patent Organization and Georgia entered into force. As a result, applicants will now be able to request validation in Georgia for any European patent filed on or after this date.

The patents concerned will be subject to the same requirements and will produce the same effects as a Georgian national patent.
