WORLD INNOVATION INDEX 2023-SWITZERLAND STILL LEADER

The 16th edition of the World Innovation Index, “the global reference for measuring a country’s innovation performance”, has just been published by the World Intellectual Property Organization, in partnership with the Portulans Institute, private partners and a network of universities. – (Source: WIPO).

For 13 years now, Switzerland has held the leading position in this ranking, ahead of Sweden 2nd (3rd in 2022) and the United States 3rd (2nd in 2022).

The European Union countries bordering Switzerland ranked in the top 20 of this index are respectively: Germany 8th (8th in 2022), France 11th (12th in 2022) and Austria 18th (17th in 2022).
